Steps:

1. Review the Email/Request

  • Check for red flags:

    • Suspicious sender or domain

    • Generic or inconsistent content

    • Unexpected LPOs or fake Amazon inquiries

    • Poor formatting or attachments with unknown formats

  • 2. Double-Check

    • Verify with relevant team (Procurement, Sales, or IT) if unsure

    • Cross-check known customer/vendor lists or past correspondence

  • 3. If Confirmed as Spam

    • Do not reply

    • Mark as Spam / Junk

    • Close case immediately

  • 4. If Legitimate

    • Forward to the appropriate team

    • Follow standard processing steps
